Oh, My Lord, You hear my cry
You know my voice ... so well
I plead ... show me your will
For today, I slipped and fell

I was again ... thinking of myself
Doing what I know isn't right
It is with humbleness, I cry to you
Please help me in my plight

Feel the anguish in my heart
Witness the hurting of my pride
Have compassion for me, Oh Lord
Come again, into my heart ... abide

You know that I am only flesh
And that, being the product of sin
I ask forgiveness, I do repent
I want to be your child again.

Tho' I have been this way before
I weakened ... I lost all control
I walked the ways of the "Dark One"
And I nearly ... lost my soul

So Blessed are you, My Lord on high
So faithful to forgive me of sin
I lift my hands, in song and praise
My love for you, has no end
