The Holy Ghost..God's gift of The Spirit that is non-seasonal, year around, Halloween or ANY Time.
And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, "Thou art my beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased." Luke 3:22

Today, people are celebrating Halloween.  As Christians, this is a troubling holiday, with its witches and ghouls and zombies. But there is one Spirit that all Christians can count on...

The Holy Ghost!
Because The Holy Ghost Is Like...

  1. FLOOR WAX:  He is a protection and polishing agent.

  2. PRAYER:  You must be connected up to get an answer.

  3. YOUR GLASSES:  He helps you to see more clearly.

  4. A COURTROOM WITNESS:  He helps establish and testifies to only the truth.

  5. HEAT:  You can't see him but you are sure of his presence.

  6. A CHILD'S MOTHER:  He is a great comfort when trouble is nigh.

  7. YOUR SHADOW:  He is a constant companion when you are in the son.

  8. A NEON SIGN:  He gives both light and knowledge.

  9. ELECTRICITY: You can't see the current, but you can surely feel it.

  10. A TELEPHONE OPERATOR:  He handles all lines of communication.

  11. A GOOD TEACHER:  He brings to remembrance the past, present and future.

  12. A CALM MORNING:  He bring peace and contentment to the soul.

  13. A STREET LAMP:  He provides the light of understanding when our pathway is dim.

  14. A SAFE:  To operate, you must know the combination. (Acts 2:38)

  15. A TELEVISION:  He can give us vicarious experiences.

  16. A COACH:  He will direct our activities if assigned to our squad.

  17. AN EDITOR:  He separates fiction from truth.

  18. A NAVIGATOR:  If we listen, he will help plot our course.

  19. A RADIO:  His signal comes through when we are in tune.

  20. SUNSHINE:  Walking in His light provides warmth to our soul and makes our days brighter.

  21. A LANTERN:  He guides us through the darkness.

  22. A VIRUS INFECTION:  You know when he is causing a reaction.

  23. A TELESCOPE:  He helps us understand things not discernable to the naked eye.

  24. A COMPUTER:   He connects you to the source of knowledge.

  25. FERTILIZER:  He nourishes you, enabling  you to bloom and bring beauty to your surroundings.

You generally feel happy and calm. You may feel unhappy, depressed, confused, frustrated most of the time.
You feel full of light.
You may feel heavy, full of darkness.
Your mind is clear. Your mind may be muddled.
You feel love for the Lord and others. You may feel empty, hollow, cold inside.
You feel generous. You may feel selfish, possessive, self-cantered.
Nobody can offend you. You may be easily offended.
You are very forgiving and kind. You may usually be on the defensive.
You feel confident in what you do. You may easily become discouraged.
You don't mind others seeing what you are doing. You may become secretive, evasive.
You want to be with those who love you -- especially family members. You may want to be alone most of the time, you avoid others - especially family members.
You are glad when others succeed. You may be envious of what others have and do.
You want to help others be happy, even those opposed to you. You may want to get even and show others up.
You willingly perform Church work. You may feel hesitant unworthy, and unwilling to perform Church ordinances.
You feel like praying and reading the scriptures. You may not want to pray or read scriptures.
You wish you could keep all the Lord's commandments. You may find the commandments of God and family rules bothersome, restricting, or senseless.
You usually control your appetites and emotions. You may be a slave to your appetites.
You're calm and control your speech; you feel no anger. You give in to strong anger and outspokenness.
You generally feel a deep desire to help others usually in a way no one else will know about. When you help others, your main desire may be to have your actions noticed.
You speak and think good about others. You may often question others' motives and secretly delight in others' problems. You are critical of others, especially family members and those in authority.
You feel sorrow when others have problems and sincerely desire to help them. You may feel that what you do and think is only your business and no one else knows or cares.


Jesus...Thank you, Lord for the devine guidance of your Holy Spirit.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, 
and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said you.

John 14:26
